The Advanced Earth Observing Satellite II (ADEOS II),
the successor to the Advanced Earth
Observing Satellite (ADEOS) mission, is a joint mission with the National
Space Development Agency (NASDA) of
Japan. The mission will take an active part in the research of global climate changes and their effect
on weather phenomena.
SeaWinds instrument is the same as on
Quikscat!
